Precautionary Statements
RESPONSE IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Immediately call a POISON CENTER of physician. Do NOT induce vomiting. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water or shower. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. PREVENTION Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. – No Smoking. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid release to the environment. Do NOT breathe gas or vapors. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Collect spillage. Leaking gas fire: Do not extinguish, unless can leak be stopped safely. In case of leakage, eliminate all ignition sources. STORAGE Store locked up. Protect from sunlight. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with all local, regional, national and international regulations.

Rubber or synthetic chemical gloves and boots should be worn as well as cotton clothing and underwear. Rubber or synthetic chemical coats or aprons should be available, an encapsulating chemical protective clothing garment is desirable for heavy exposures. The use of long sleeved clothing closed at the neck is advised. Change if clothing becomes contaminated. |
